It's Persephone from Greek Mythology She's involved of the myth of the seasons, her mother is Demeter (goddess of the harvest) and she was taken by Hades (God of the underworld). while she was there her mother got sad and all the plants died, and while Persephone was in the underworld she ate 6 seeds from a pomegranate, so now she has to stay in the underworld for 6 months in the year, which is when her mother gets sad (Winter) and then when she gets out, her mother gets happy again and all the plants come back (Spring) So on her left is winter, and on her right is spring, and in her left hand is the pomegranate that she ate. State is State Competition for Latin, our team got second place in Area competition, so March 31-April 1 we're going to this town called Pflugerville for State competition i entered the art division (along with Latin Derivatives and Decathlon) so this is my art entry  |

yeah, we're going to state later this month
(state as in, the Statewide Latin Competition)
i'm good with Latin! it's an awesome language!!

... what's not to understand?
we go to the place where the competition is, and we take tests depending on what the category we entered is... and then they rank us based on how we did on the tests. everyone in the state of texas who passed the area level competition will be there
and since i'm doing art also, i enter my art, then it's judged, and then they rank the best arts.
