because apparantly they changed a lot of things in the English one... mostly cutting out stuff I've heard..
It's mostly about these Sephiroth clones named Yazoo, Kadaj and Loz, and they try to find their mother (Jenova) so they can have another "reunion". that's where all the cells of Jenova return to her body and she becomes whole again. Sephiroth tried to have a reunion, but cloud stopped him
meanwhile the people are suffering from a disease called 'geostigma' which is a 'disease of the soul' or something like that caused by infection of Jenova cells with the Lifestream
yeah.. it sounds very confusing, but play FFVII and it'll make sense. or watch the movie and itll make sense...
