New pencil drawling!! This one's TONS better than my Yuna one... Now that I've experimented a bit, im a little more used to my new pencils and using charcoal  Coming up next I plan to do Tifa from FF7 |

whoa thats awesome did you use a pic for that? kinda looks like the pic from the instrukshon booklet It looks better than the yuna one and I can tell who it is  |

Yeah, i used the instruction booklet pic for reference... i've never used a reference to draw something before and i wanted to see how well i could reproduce it. and i wanted to test out my new charcoal pencil effects now that i know they don't smudge well... >_> i have to lightly color, smudge, lightly color, smudge, and repeat till it's as dark as i want.
notice (though you can hardly tell) that rikku has spiral irises. the characteristic of all al bhed, which looks really cool in the game!

yeah... i was thinking of maybe taking several refernce materials, and putting them all together to make an original drawing... maybe like A reference of Rikku's face, Lulu's hair, Yuffie's clothes, and Tifa's battle stance... and make some weird ninja thing... i dunno... something like that |

Lol my Pictures folder has about 1000 pics of random video game related things (from sig making) but only 2 of Tifa... that's comical... |

but i have more, im a sig maker  ooh ooh! we went to barnes and noble today and i found this AWESOME photoshop book, called "How to Cheat in Photoshop". And it's got all these awesome tricks like how to take a pic of someone and make it look like their eyes are closed, or to make a realistic water reflection, how to make icicles on a window, how to switch heads and bodies or how to make realistic glass effects and it looks SOOO real! I NEED this book!!! but it's like $40... but it was SOOOOO cool!!! |
